Royal Challenger Bangalore finished the innings with the more than winnable total of 190 in 20 overs.

In 2nd innings the start of Kings XI Punjab was not good at all because their wickets were trembling all the way. But David Miller the hero of the game came on strike and started to play fast and responsible inning. David Miller was hitting all over the ground. He changed the match into the favour of Kings XI Punjab. He made 101 in just 38 balls which the 2nd fastest century of the recent IPL. Kings XI Punjab chased the target in 18th over and David due to his outstanding performance was also the man of the match.
