Government of the Punjab is working hard to provide health facilities to the people of province, in this regard, steps are continuously being taken by the govt. Departments, such as primary & healthcare and health authorities have been established. District health authorities have also been formulated throughout the province of Punjab. These authorities will be supervised by the secretary, health department, Punjab Government. Vacancies are being announced time to time in these departments / authorities / institutions. Vacancies of stenographers, data entry operators and public health workers have been announced at presently.
These are contract based jobs. Appointments shall be made on purely on contract based against the contract policy 2004 for a period of three years. The contract period will be extended for further one year or as per requirement of the department / institution. On satisfactory performance services of these employees can be regularized as per policy and instructions issued by the health department. However, codal and procedural formalities will be adopted before regularization of service. Medical fitness test will also be conducted by medical board. The vacancies mentioned in advertisement are non-transferable.
The competent authority decided to make appointments on merit. Therefore, the staff will be recruited through National Testing System (NTS). Written test will be conducted by NTS and only candidates will be called for interview that passes the written test. Written test will be comprised on MCQs. Therefore, if you are interested to apply, submit application form alongwith necessary documents as mentioned below directly to Headquarter of NTS situated at Islamabad. You will have deposit an amount of Rs.500/- to NTS. You need to present original documents on the time of interview.
