Li Na Won the Australian Open 2014 Women’s Single Title

The Chinese tennis player Li Na won the title of women’s single Australian Open 2014. The match was played today between the Chinese player Li Na Won the Australian Open 2014 Women’s Single TitleLi Na and Slovakian player Dominika. The score of match was been as 7-6, 6-0. The runner up Dominika who played tremendous tournament but in final could not perform well.

Li Na who is Chinese tennis player was born on 26th February 1982 in Wuhan Hubei, China. The father of Li Na was badminton player but he died when Li Na was only 14 years of age as his father had cardiovascular problem. On the recommendation of Xia Xiyao which is tennis club in China the parents of Li Na started to train their daughter tennis in her early age. Li has also playing for National Tennis Player of China in the year of 1997. Li Na graduated from University of Science and Technology in the field of journalism in 2009.  She has won WTA title nine times and as well as ITF singles title 19 times in her career. Li Na also won the title of French Open 2011 and she was only tennis player from Asia who has this reward.

Li Na was so excited for winning the title of Australian Open women’s title. On the hand Dominika Cibulkova was little upset due to her performance. Li Na is the first oldest lady who won Australian Open. When Li Na was asked about his performance in the Australian Open 2014 she said that she had best two weeks of her professional career. She said I’m really happy to won the title. Moreover she thanked to the crowd for supporting her.
