Pepsi IPL 2013: Chennai Super Kings Beat Rajasthan Royal with 5 Wickets Left


April 22nd: Rajasthan Royal won the toss and elected to bat first. Rajasthan Royal started beautifully, the opener of Rajasthan Royal Shane Watson did play blinder innings for his 101 in just 61 balls. Rahul Dravid the captain of Rajasthan once again failed to score big and got out making 6 runs in 7 balls.  No batsman was able to contribute with Watson. In the end of innings Stuart Binny played little innings with 36 runs from 22 balls. Rajasthan Royal still put a decent score of 185 which was not a bad total at all.

In the start of 2nd innings Chennai Super Kings lost early wicket of Murli Vijay, he made only 3 runs. After that Michael Hussey alongwith Suresh Raina starting to play really nicely, they were scoring according to the required run rate, especially Hussey was in really good touch. Making 51 runs Suresh Raina gets out but Michael Hussey continued batting well. When MS Dhoni was out in last ball of 19th over it was seemed that CSK would be lost. In last over 11 runs were needed, but Dwayne Bravo belonging to West Indies hit a big six to Shane Watson. Hitting a six in last over made easy to chase and finally CSK won the match. This was really close match and was full of enjoy. The man of the match was Michael Hussey for his fantastic inning of 88.
