Shahid Afridi 37 Balls Century Record Broken by Corey Anderson
Queenstown: The Seventeen year old 37 balls century record made by the Shahid Afridi has been broken now. The record is broken by the Batsman of New Zealand today. The New Year brought new record in the history of Cricket on its first day. The match was being played between the West Indies and New Zealand on Wednesday and was reduced to 21 overs due to heavy rain.
Toss won by the West Indies and elected to bowl first but the never know the world record of 37 balls century is going to be broken today as the young batsman of New Zealand came into ground and started to play shorts everywhere. Corey Anderson hit 12 sixes and 4 fours to break the world record which was holding by the Pakistani popular cricketer Shahid Khan Afridi.
Shahid Khan Afridi the Pakistani al-rounder made the record of making 100 runs just in 37 balls against Sri Lank in 1996. Shahid Afridi was made this record in 37 balls. But the Corey Anderson played tremendous inning today he made 131 runs just in 47 balls and made the century in only 36 balls. Anderson hit 14 sixes and as well as 6 fours in his inning.
In reply West Indies could manage only 124 runs and got out thus West Indies lost the match with sufficient runs left. Anderson was so happy on making new record in the history of cricket.
